![]() It’s not an immersion-breaking thing by any means, but it’s so nice to see how grass and other foliage move around when Geralt passes through them. The developers fixed the Grass Collision effect, which now works as intended. You can find it in the Video section in the main menu. The option is only available if your monitor or TV supports HDR and it is active. If you play on a high-end monitor or TV, you can now tweak the HDR’s color performance to your liking and to the specification of your screen. While performance has not been improved (I could not see any meaningful difference at all anywhere in the game), there are a few key fixes for Ray Tracing related bugs such as the missing sky reflection in water in White Orchard, Velen and Toussaint. Quest Bug FixesĪ few quests received fixes for bugs I have personally not experienced, but it’s nice to know that CD Projekt Red is still keeping an eye on reports because these have been known and reported by multiple people. There are dedicated slots for human and animal oils, monster oils, four slots for potions and at the bottom is the slot for the crossbow or unique item you may need to use. You can see those in the bottom left corner of the screen. You activate the radial menu and hold a dedicated number to open up a new window for each slot to place or replace a potion. And a number of Ray Tracing fixes and improvements too. This update brings a lot of bug fixes, some of them for key side quests. It is relatively small in size, about 2.38GB on GOG. On July 19th, we got a new patch for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Below that, you can read the full official patch notes. It brings a ton of fixes for all platforms, including some love for Nintendo Switch!Īs always, first I’ll share the highlights that I think will be of interest to many. CD Projekt Red continues to support The Witcher 3 and Update 4.04 is a great proof of that. ![]()
